I believe this was asked previously by somebody and they called to confirm that owens doesn't store meat unless proccessing it there. :dunno:

Dave Anderson, a member here has a meat locker outside of Cle Elum and great rates for butchering your elk.  He did my last elk and some friends of mine.  I highly recommend him.

Jeez, if your that far from home why wouldnt you have an animal cut and wrapped and ready for p/u on the way out. You help a local small biznus family out and save a ton in gas money and time running it back home.

I guess it is just one of those things I like to do myself, always have and sure I always will..... Most small hunting communities around Idaho and MT (atleast where I hunt) have meat lockers available.

They all charge a fee for this as well so you are still helping out a local business, And I get to butcher my animals exactly as I see fit... I have no problem supporting the local businesses, It is just one of those things that I like done a certain way. I also smoke my own pepperonis, summer sausage etc. I am sure you understand??

the question was answered...no....unless you are getting it cut there are no meat lockers over here any more...so one more reason to not hunt the colockum  :chuckle:

to the original poster.....you might try calling Careks meats in Roslyn but they are small and I am thinking they dont have lockers, try the member here as suggested he lives over here and would likely be able to answer your question his handle on here is danderson
